Hi. Good to see that some people are still blogging and/or reading my blog. Let me tell you something. The last few days have been a bit rough. Monday was when a piece of glass fell off my new shelf and hit me in the eye. It hurt pretty bad, and I had a swollen eye. But after about 24 hours, the swelling went down and it was ok. But what really hurt was that my glasses were broken. I was in shock and freaking out. I think I was pretty traumatized, but that was the start of my adventures with the insurance company. First of all, I was told that it could take up to 6 weeks for a new pair of glasses to be made. But no, that's not the weird part. The weird part was that the person who inspected my glasses couldn't see the glass in them, which meant he couldn't give me a quote or help me with the insurance. I couldn't believe it. I mean, I'm a grown-up, I know how to read a fucking contract. I could have gone through the hassle of making an appointment for the eye doctor or going to the optometrist myself.
